A Wedding Celebration
Our congregation in October 2023 celebrated the marriage of Pastor Don Mitchell to Leah Holloway. We continue to wish them much happiness.
Open Air Baptism
An open air baptism was held at Pastor Don home in September 2021. Those baptised were N’Tumahawa Kamara and Mark Davis. The entire congregation celebrated this joyful event.
Last 4th of July Barbecue
Before her death, Pastor Don Mitchell and his first wife Pat hosted a last 4th of July barbecue for the congregation at their home. A good time was had by all, as the photos show.
Chesapeake Bay Men’s Retreat
When feasible, Calvary Chapel Ocean Gateway hopes again to host a Chesapeake Bay Men’s Retreat with worship, teaching, and recreational time.
The purpose of this retreat is to encourage participants to be men of God. We fish, crab, cook, and eat what we catch. The retreat ends with a steamed crab and corn feast, then the taking of Communion.
