Last 4th of July Barbecue
Before Covid hit, Pastor Don and Pat Mitchell hosted a 4th of July barbecue for the congregation at their home. A good time was had by all, as the photos show!
Chesapeake Bay Men’s Retreat
When feasible, Calvary Chapel Ocean Gateway hopes again to host a Chesapeake Bay Men’s Retreat with worship, teaching, and recreational time.
The purpose of this retreat is to encourage participants to be men of God. We fish, crab, cook, and eat what we catch. The retreat ends with a steamed crab and corn feast, then the taking of Communion.
Open Air Baptism
An open air baptism was held at Pastor Don and Pat’s home in September 2021. Those baptised were N’Tumahawa Kamara and Mark Davis. The entire congregation celebrated this joyful event.
